Abstract

The invention relates to a device () for handling notes of value. The device comprises a first module () that in an operating state is electrically conductive connected via a first electrical wire to a power supply unit () and electrically conductive connected via a second electrical wire to a second module (). In a maintenance state the first module () is neither electrically conductive connected to the first electrical wire nor electrically conductive connected to the second electrical wire.
