Abstract

A transfer device () which comprises an outer housing (), an inner body () formed within the housing (), the inner body () having a conduit () extending therethrough to provide fluid communication between upper and lower chambers, the conduit () having a piercing tip () at a lower end, a cap ()having a top wall and a downwardly extending wall (), the cap being retained in position such that access cannot be had to the inner body (), and a pushing member () which has at least one leg () extending upwardly, the pushing member having an activated position where the leg () will extend upwardly to the upper chamber and move the cap () such that access may be had to the inner body ().
