Abstract
A device () for defining a flight path () enabling an aircraft () to reach a destination (B), said device () including a digital terrain model () and a display screen (), and being provided with generator means () for generating a flight path () including at least one flight segment () associated with a flying altitude. The device () includes a digital noise database () having volumes that are to be avoided, said device () having a computer () with a main memory () containing instructions for displaying on said display screen () and as an overlay on a first representation () of said terrain as provided by said digital terrain model (): a second representation () of said volumes to be avoided; and a flight path () that has been generated by using said generator means ().
