A printercomprising, a feed sectioncapable of feeding a print paper having a first sheetand a second sheetlaminated to the first sheetthrough a gap, and a print sectionfor printing the print paper, wherein the print sectioncomprises a thermal headand a platen rollerbeing opposed to the thermal head, wherein the platen rollercomprises a shaftbeing rotatably supported in a direction perpendicular to a feeding direction of the print paper, a cylindrical body rollerdisposed to the shaft, and a projecting portionprotruding outward in a radial direction of the body rollerfor filling the gapby pressing the print paper.
