The present application relates to N-phosphinyl guanidine metal salt complexes. The present application also relates to catalyst systems comprising N-phosphinyl guanidine metal salt complexes and processes for making catalyst systems comprising N-phosphinyl guanidine metal salt complexes. The present application also relates to utilizing N-phosphinyl guanidine metal salt complexes in processes of oligomerizing or polymerizing olefins.
