Abstract

The present invention relates to abrasive grains, which are coated with a micro-particle inorganic powder and a binder, consisting of the group of conventional abrasive grains as well as the group of the 'superabrasives', wherein the binder comprises an aluminosilicate with a molar ratio of AlOto SiOof 1:2 to 1:20 as well as at least one complex alkaline fluoride. The particular advantage of this coating is that the binder can already be completely hardened at below 400° C. The invention also relates to a method for producing such abrasive grains as well as to the use thereof for producing abrasives.
