Abstract
In a device () for monitoring and/or manipulating objects that are arranged in a cavity that can be accessed through a narrow opening, a tubular or hose-shaped insertion part () is provided, on which a flexible section () is formed, which can be controlled by a Bowden cable (), the Bowden cable () acting on an actuating element () which is rotatably supported in a joint () which includes a joint socket () and a corresponding joint ball () that engages with the joint socket ().
