Abstract
The invention relates to an HF ignition device for igniting a combustible gas mixture in an internal combustion engine, comprising a center electrode (), an insulating body () through which center electrode () extends, a housing () that carries, on one end thereof, a metallic housing body () that encloses at least one section of insulating body (), and comprising an external thread () to be screwed into an internal combustion engine, and a circuit for the HF excitation of the center electrode ().
