Abstract

A electrical connector assembly includes a mother board () having a number of circuit traces (), an electrical connector () and a number of filter modules mounted on the mother board and situated away from the electrical connector. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing () and a number of contact terminals () assembled to the insulative housing and being mounted to the mother board along a first direction. The contact terminals are connected to the filter modules via the number of circuit traces of the mother board.
