Abstract
The present invention relates to a binuclear ruthenium complex dye represented by the following general formula (1-1): wherein Rrepresents a linear or branched alkyl group having 2 to 18 carbon atoms; X represents a counter ion; and n represents a number of the counter ions needed to neutralize a charge of the complex; and in which proton(s) (H) of one or more carboxyl groups (—COOH) may dissociate.
