Abstract
Provided is a novel process for producing an L-amino acid using a microorganism belonging to the genus. According to the present invention, a process for producing an L-amino acid comprising; culturing a microorganism in which an activity of the protein of any of the following [1]-[3] is increased compared with that of the parent strain in a medium, producing and accumulating the L-amino acid in the medium, and recovering the L-amino acid from the medium:
