Abstract
A device () for electrically connecting a cable, in particular a plug-in connector part (), has a housing () in which a shielding element () is arranged for electrically contacting a cable shield () and for electrically connecting the cable shield () to the housing (). The shielding element () is multipart. A first part () of the shielding element () is in electrically connecting abutment against the housing (), and can be electroconductively connected to the cable shield () by at least one further part () of the shielding element ().
