Abstract
The invention relates to a system for motorizing a wheel (), the system comprising a motor unit (), a drive member () secured to the wheel () and a clutch device () connects the output shaft () of the motor unit () to the drive member (). According to the invention, the motor unit () comprises an electric motor () and is carried by an un-sprung part of a suspension strut () of an aircraft so that the latter can be made to move along the ground.
