Abstract

An optical lens made of resin, which includes a molded body made of a molding material containing a transparent polyamide such as polyamide 12 and a stabilizer, which has total light transmittance of at least 60% when the molded body has a thickness of 2 mm, and has total light transmittance of at least 50% after the molded body maintained at 80° C. was irradiated with light in an amount of 1000 W/mfor 500 hours by using a xenon lamp, which is lightweight, highly transparent, and resistant to discoloration, deformation, aging, and the like due to irradiation with light emitted from a xenon lamp, a blue-violet laser or the like serving as a light source, and which is suitable for use in a light emitting device of a flash lamp and the like, is provided.
