Abstract
An operating apparatus () which includes: an operation information obtaining unit () which obtains, from an input apparatus (), operation information indicating operations inputted by a user to first and second input units (and); an operation amount calculation unit () which calculates amounts of the operations by the user to the first and second input units (and), using the operation information obtained by the operation information obtaining unit (); and an operation region change unit () which changes sizes of first and second operation regions (and) so that areas of the first and second operation regions (and) corresponding to the first and second input units (and) increase as the amounts of the operations to the first and second input units (and) calculated by the operation amount calculation unit are greater.
