Abstract
An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes toner particles that contain a binder resin having a carboxyl group, in which the carboxyl group in the binder resin present on the surfaces of the toner particles forms an alkaline earth metal salt, and an amount of the alkaline earth metal which is detected through ion chromatography of the toner particles is in a range of from 1.00×10mol/g to 0.90×10mol/g.
