Abstract

A device for collecting particles that have a high electron affinity, particularly explosive particles, from a gas, includes a flow channel () in which at least one electrically positive collector electrode () and at least one ionising electrode () are arranged, between which an electrical field is present so that the particles having high electron affinity can be indirectly charged by corona discharge on the ionising electrode () and can be displaced towards the collector electrode ().
