Abstract

A composite component includes at least two sections having different magnetization, the at least two sections in the integrally formed component lying directly next to each other. The base material of the composite component is a semi-austenitic steel. A first section has a higher saturation polarization Jthan an adjacent second section, the second section having a minimum saturation polarization Jof 0.1 T to 1.3 T and/or a maximum relative permeability μof 2 to 150. The composite component is suitable for use in electromagnetic valves, e.g., in fuel injectors of internal combustion engines.
