A display section () includes: a display-end path switching section () for detecting, within a LAN, a tuner section () with use of a pairing ID which is obtained for establishing communication via a communication path (a) and which is generated with use of a MAC address of the tuner section (); and a display-end connection processing section () for establishing communication with the tuner section () via a communication path (c).
