Abstract

Disclosed is a display device () that includes a display panel () for displaying an image, a touch panel () of electrostatic capacitance coupling type that is disposed so as to face the display panel (), and an adhesive layer () that is disposed between the display panel () and the touch panel () and that bonds the display panel () and the touch panel () to each other. The adhesive layer () is provided with a shield pattern () that is configured to prevent electrical noise generated in the display panel () from affecting the touch panel (). According to this configuration, it becomes possible to prevent the increase in the device thickness, and to prevent a decrease in the position detection accuracy of the touch panel.
