Abstract
The upper surface portion of a planarization layer is planarized. In an anode formed on the planarization layer, upper surface portions at edge regions by a bank are located above an upper surface portion at a central region. A hole injection transporting layer is layered along the upper surface portions of the anode, and in the hole injection transporting layer, upper surface portions at the edge regions near the bank are located above an upper surface portion at the central region. In an organic light-emitting layer, upper surface portions at the edge regions (regions Dand D) near the bank are located above an upper surface portion at the central region (region D). As a result, thicknesses Tand Tof the light-emitting layer are equivalent to a thickness Tof the organic light-emitting layer.
