Abstract

The present invention relates to compositions for the oral and vaginal administration of human Lactobacilli and uses thereof for physiologic restoration of the vaginal flora, physiologic maintenance ofin pathologic deficiency to produce Lactobacilli, treatment of asymptomatic bacterial vaginosis and prevention of preterm delivery caused through bacterial vaginosis.
