Abstract
Acid compounds are removed from a gaseous effluent in an absorption method using an aqueous solution of N,N,N',N′-tetramethylhexane-1,6-diamine formulated with a particular primary or secondary amine, allowing to obtain a single-phase absorbent solution under the absorption conditions of acid gases such as CO. The method is advantageously applied to the treatment of natural gas and of gas of industrial origin.
