Abstract
A paper holder is provided which can reliably hold paper, reliably pull out an uppermost piece of paper one by one and, further, leave a straight and clear torn trace on paper such that dust is hardly produced. The paper holder has a casein which a mount portionincluding a bottom surface portionand an upper covering portionare detachably engaged and integrally formed, and in which a paper insertion openingis formed, and has in the casea holding piecethat holds inserted paper and that is provided with a blade. The paper holder has an elastic memberthat biases the holding pieceby means of spring force applied in a direction in which the paper is pulled out. The holding pieceis made of a plate body having rigidity, and is axially supported rotatably by an axial support portionthat is provided inside the front side front surface portionof the case, and further has a longitudinal surface portionthat extends from the axial support portionto a bottom surface portion side. The bladeis fixed to a blade fixing member. The blade fixing memberis provided in a surface of the longitudinal surface portionon a paper insertion direction side such that a tipof the blade projects from an end of the longitudinal surface portionon the bottom surface portion side.
