Abstract

The present invention relates to an oral care composition, which contains a compound represented by the formula (A): (wherein, R represents a substituted or unsubstituted, linear or branched alkyl group having from 6 to 18 carbon atoms, G represents a galactose residue, m stands for an integer of from 0 to 200, and n stands for an integer of from 1 to 30); and a coaggregation inhibitor of bacteria of the genusand cariogenic bacteria, which contains the compound as an effective ingredient. The composition for oral cavity according to the present invention inhibits coaggregation of bacteria of the genuswith cariogenic bacteria so that it has an excellent caries preventive effect.
