Abstract

An iron golf club is one made of metal material, which is manufactured integrally through press working and gives dedication to improvement of golf club design. The head () has a concave portion () surrounded by a convex portion () in the backside portion () behind the face portion (). Treatment for making a mirror surface is applied to the bottom portion () of this concave portion through press working with a fixed die () having a surface roughness finer than the mirror surface for which treatment for making a mirror surface is to be performed and a movable die (). Press working of this bottom portion can be also performed through treatment for making a mirror surface with a liner member ().
