The invention relates to an electric contact element produced from a solid material, which is embodied as a plug-in contact () or as a socket contact (), and which comprises a plug-in section () and a connection section () for contacting an electric bunched conductor, with the connection section () being formed as a crimped connection, and with the connection section () being formed as a hollow cylinder () comprising a slot () in the axial direction.
