Abstract
A proportional throttle valve includes a valve piston () functioning as a variable orifice and displaceably guided in the longitudinal direction in a valve housing () having a fluid inlet () and a fluid outlet (). Since a leading edge () of the valve piston () is formed by a control piston () of a flow regulator () for the fluid connection of the fluid inlet () and the fluid outlet (), the flow control valve and the proportional throttle valve are functionally combined in one valve unit.
