Abstract

The invention relates to the use of polymeric particles for boosting the UV absorption of an UV filter in an UV-sunscreen composition, wherein the polymeric particles comprise at least one polymeric particle comprising at least one chromophore having an UV absorption maximum at λ≧275 nm covalently bound thereto.
