Abstract
A component part mounting structure for mounting a cup holder base () on a front surface () of a side lining () of a vehicle by using a self-tapping screw (), wherein the side lining () comprises a base portion () projecting from a rear surface () of the side lining () and defining a space () in cooperation with the rear surface (), and a boss portion () projecting from the base portion and defining a through hole () opening out toward the space (), characterized by that the cup holder base () is provided with a fastening seat () abutting the front surface () of the side lining (), and the self-tapping screw () is configured to be passed through the fastening seat () and side lining () from the side of the cup holder base (), and engaged by the through hole () of the boss portion () at a free end thereof.
