Abstract
A pointing device () is provided for use on an interactive surface (). The pointing device () comprises a grip portion () and a shapeable part (). The grip portion can be manipulated into different positions by a user. The shapeable part () has a contact surface for making contact with the interactive surface (). The grip portion () is coupled to the shapeable part () in such a way that the manipulation of the grip portion () causes a footprint () of the contact surface on the interactive surface () to take a shape corresponding to the respective different positions of the grip portion ().
