Abstract

The present invention provides a process for producing a conjugated diene-based polymer, comprising polymerizing a monomer component containing a conjugated diene compound and a silicon-containing vinyl compound using a polymerization initiator represented by the following formula (1) wherein, Rrepresents a hydrocarbylene group having 6 to 100 carbon atoms, Rand Rrepresent a hydrocarbyl group optionally having a substituent, or a trihydrocarbylsilyl group, or Rand Rare bonded to represent a hydrocarbylene group optionally having, as a hetero atom, at least one kind atom selected from the atomic group consisting of a silicon atom, a nitrogen atom and an oxygen atom.
