Abstract
The present invention relates to a folding bicycle assisted by an electric motor, comprising a frame with a down tube () with a back end with a seat tube () and a front end with a steering tube () housing a stem () connected in the upper zone to a handlebar () and in the lower zone to a front fork (), a back fork () coupled to the back end of the down tube (), a folding mechanism which allows folding the bicycle () about an articulating pin () to at least one folded position, and a locking mechanism for keeping the bicycle in said folded position.
