Abstract

The invention relates to copying of settings of a device to another device so that a user does not have to set up each device of a network of devices, such as to set up each lamp of a lighting system with a network of lamps. A basic idea of the invention is to equip a device such as a lamp with a network transmitter and receiver with a form of proximity detection in order to enable a user to easily copy the settings of one device to another device within their proximity.
