Abstract

The invention relates to an electromagnetic drive (), which is connected or can be connected to an open-loop control device or closed-loop control device () and together with the latter can form an electromagnetic drive installation. The electromagnetic drive () contains a hollow-cylindrical drive coil (), in which an armature () can be driven in each case from one to the other of two end stations () or back by an electromagnetic pulse of the drive coil (). Holding means (), preferably permanent magnets, hold the armature () in the end station respectively reached until the electromagnetic pulse is generated once again.
