Abstract

A device for coupling an asynchronous motor with an electrical power supply cable includes a socket () designed to be connected to the asynchronous motor so that each of the six wires () of the asynchronous motor corresponds to a contact () of the three-phase socket, a plug () designed to be connected to the electrical power supply cable so that each of the three wires of the electrical power supply cable corresponds to one contact of the plug, and at least one shunt () including at least two connection strips () each designed to couple two contacts of the three-phase socket. An asynchronous motor provided with a connection device such as this and a method for coupling an asynchronous motor are also described.
