A method for improving tetracycline-resistance of, by providing a ginger compound combined with tetracycline to againstinfection, wherein the ginger compound comprises [6]-dehydrogingerdione, [6]-shogaol and [6]-gingerol or [10]-gingerol, [6]-shogaol and [6]-gingerol.
