Abstract

A fan arrangement has an electric motor () that serves to drive a fan wheel () and that has an internal stator () and an external rotor (), with which latter the fan wheel is drivingly connected. Arranged on a circuit board () are components () that are coolable, at least in part, by an air flow () generated during operation by that fan wheel (). Associated with the fan wheel is an air-directing element () that is mounted on the circuit board () separately from the electric motor () so that, in operation, a cooling air flow () is generated which emerges from the fan arrangement () between the circuit board () and air-directing element ().
