Abstract

A light-emitting element of the present invention includes (i) a light-emitting layer (), (ii) an electrode layer () being transparent to part of light emitted from the light-emitting layer (), (iii) color converting layers (), and (iv) a transparent layer (). The color converting layers () and the transparent layer () sandwich the transparent electrode layer () with the light-emitting layer (). The color converting layers () and the transparent electrode layer () contain particles () expressing a surface plasmon phenomenon, respectively.
