Disclosed is a pest control composition having an excellent controlling effect on pests, which comprises etoxazole and a compound represented by the formula (I): wherein, Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Ris a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, or a (C1-C4 alkyl)carbonyl group, Ris a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, or a (C1-C4 alkyl)carbonyl group, Ris a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, a C1-C4 haloalkyl group, or a (C1-C4 alkyl)carbonyl group, Ris a hydrogen atom, a C1-C4 alkyl group, or a C1-C4 alkylamino group, Ris a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Ris a methyl group or an ethyl group, Ris an amino group, a C1-C4 alkylamino group, or a di(C1-C4 alkyl)amino group, and Xand Xare hydrogen atoms or Xand Xtogether form a single bond.
