Abstract

The invention relates to an omni-directional ultra-wide band antenna including at least two metallic members () provided opposite an earth plane () and distributed about a symmetry axis (AA) perpendicular to the earth plane () and at the centre of the antenna, characterised in that the metallic members (-) each have a narrow quasi punctual geometry at their base that flares along the symmetry axis (BB) of said metallic members (-) in the direction of the upper end thereof, and in that said metallic members (-) are oriented in a direction extending from a common point () of said metallic members and opposite the earth plane ().
