Abstract
A process of producing α,β-unsaturated ethers includes pyrolyzing an acetal represented by Formula (2) below in a gas phase in the presence of a catalyst and a compound having at least one hydrogen atom capable of hydrogen bonding to produce an α,β-unsaturated ether represented by Formula (3) below:RRCH—CR(OR)  (2)RRC═C—R(OR)  (3)In Formulae (2) and (3), R, Rand Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group; Ris an alkyl group, an alkenyl group or an aryl group; the plurality of Rin Formula (2) may be the same or different from each other.
