Abstract

A structure for a vehicle body rear portion has a rear pillar (), a rear wheel arch (), a damper stiffener () which is connected so that the load of the damper () transmitted through the rear wheel arch () is dispersed to the rear pillar (), and a brace () which is connected from the rear wheel arch () to the rear pillar (). The brace () has a front surface section () which faces forward, a side surface section (), and a rear surface section () which faces the front surface section (). A front ridge line section () and/or a rear ridge line section () reaches the rear pillar () from the rear wheel arch ().
