Abstract

The invention relates to a motor vehicle inflatable airbag arrangement () comprising a flap () covering an inflatable airbag module. This flap (), which comprises a body () to which a reinforcing plate () is fixed, is articulated with respect to a fixed part () so as to open upon inflation of the airbag, and a linear tether () is secured to the flap () and to the fixed part () so as to limit the opening of the flap () when the airbag inflates. The linear tether () is fixed to the flap () by being sandwiched between the body () and the plate () fixed to this body (). The flap () comprises a reinforcing rod () interposed between the plate () and the tether (), this reinforcing rod () running alongside the outline of the flap () at least in the region where the tether () protrudes beyond this outline.
