Abstract

A cellular phoneincludes displaysand, touch sensorsandwhich receives an operation on the displaysand, an external speakerwhich performs a notification action, and a CPUwhich controls the displaysand the external speaker. Here, the CPUdisplays a snooze button Band a dismiss button B, which are a target of the operation, on the displayorduring the notification action. If an operation on the snooze button Bis a confirmation flick, the CPUstops the notification action and furthermore resumes the notification action if standby time elapses after the notification action stops. In contrast, if an operation on the dismiss button Bis a confirmation flick, the CPUstops the notification action and furthermore cancels a setting of the notification action.
