A Cswitching valveestablishes a first supply state, in which a Csolenoid pressure Pslccan be supplied to a clutch C, when a line pressure PL is supplied as a holding pressure, and when a modulator pressure Pmod is supplied as a holding pressure and a Bsolenoid pressure Pslbis not supplied. The Cswitching valveestablishes a second supply state, in which the line pressure PL can be supplied to the clutch C, when the modulator pressure Pmod is supplied as a holding pressure and the Bsolenoid pressure Pslbis supplied. The Cswitching valveis supplied with the modulator pressure Pmod as a holding pressure when an abnormality occurs in supply of the Csolenoid pressure Pslc
