Abstract
A cover member for automobiles comprises: a cover bodyextending lengthwise and having an anchoring partformed thereon protruding toward the panelside; a protective memberhaving a substantially U-shape in cross-section which fastens the top end, the substantially U-shape including: a first side wallhaving a hook partformed thereon for fitting with the anchoring part; a second side wallwhich makes elastic contact with an inner side compared with the top end of the cover body; and a connecting wall; wherein a projectionis formed on an outer side of the first side wallfor the first side wallto expand with respect to the second side wallwhen the protective memberis bent so that the connecting wallwarps.
