Abstract
A collapsible kayak comprises a bow unit, a central unit, and a stern unit. The bow unit and the stern unit are both connected to the central unit with hinges, allowing the collapsible kayak to assume either an 'in use' orientation or a 'storage' orientation. While the collapsible kayak is in the “in use” orientation, the bow unit, the central unit, and the stern unit are held into a linear shape with removable clamps. While the collapsible kayak is in the “storage” orientation, the bow unit and the stern unit are folded back and locked into place with a securing device.
