Abstract
A waste stripping unit in a packaging production machine (), positioned downstream of a cutting unit () for cutting one or more flat substrates (). The stripping unit includes a frame () supporting two rotary tools cooperating with one another (). At least one of the two tools () is formed with a mandrel () and a removable sleeve (), and the sleeve can be inserted on, fixed to and driven in rotation by the mandrel (). One tool has protruding needles for the stripping and the other tool has a flexible strip cooperating with the needles.
