Abstract

An apparatusfor increasing extractsE taken from cellular plant tissuehas a preparation containerfor holding the cellular plant tissue, the containerhaving an inlet or openingto receive a fluidto wet the cellular plant tissueand take extractsE from the cellular plant tissueto create a fluid with extracts mixtureE, and an outlet to pass the fluid with extracts mixture, a lower portion of the container is a holding vesselto receive the fluid with extractsE; and an acoustic shock wave devicefor transmitting shock wavesto the wet cellular plant tissueto enhance release of extractsE into the fluid. The invention further discloses a method of increasing extractsE taken from cellular plant tissuecomprises the steps of placing prepared cellular plant tissuein a container; introducing a fluidinto the containerto wet and immerse the prepared cellular plant tissue; and emitting acoustic shock wavesinto the fluidimmersed cellular plant tissueto increase the extractsE released by the plant tissueinto the fluidand a product made from the method, the product being a beverage, medicine or drug.
